It probably didn't require a 30 round clip, maybe it took 22 .22s...I have no idea how many shots were fired. But that wasn't the point. If you have two guys coming at you as he did, you don't want to have to stop and reload along the way. And the fact is, under that kind of pressure, a civilian probably wouldn't be that accurate and might waste quite a few shots. And it wasn't like this guy bragged about this in public. He never mentioned it on the threads, he only mentioned it after we got to know each other after a couple of years here. And then, as has been pointed out, the second amendment isn't about shooting squirrels, it isn't solely about personal home protection. It is very specifically there to make sure that the government never forgets that the civilians are always armed and are the last layer of checks & balances in the system. The press was supposed to be one of the checks in the system too. But that domino fell. Our press is no more than the propaganda arm of our government.
