Chat with James J. Cramer

cauchy from wwa.com at 5:03pm ET
you're taking a lot of heat [undeserved] on tsc for your comments on the
drillers; I know you're bullish on the group, but why/when you do you bail out,
also, what's your opinion of the analyst at morgan [lovoi], thanks

James J. Cramer at 5:05pm ET
I like Lavoie. I like this group very much and it has been a huge money
maker for me these last two years. That said, I am not oblivious to
crude. As long as crude stays in the $19-20 barrel range, I can make
big money. Even $18. But at $16 projects will be cut back. Thats why the
group sold off. I haven't bailed, but they have hurt me in the last few weeks. I
have admitted that. I am short-term wrong on the group. It is very painful, but I
believe in the sector as a long-term play and I am not bailing

Jim,

Know you gotta run, but some themes for the coming year? And thanks for the
chat.

James J. Cramer at 5:34pm ET
Next year the themes will continue to be financial consolidation, as
well as, perhaps, a comeback in Japan. The drugs will remain strong. I
believe the drillers will mount a strong comeback next year once oil
resumes equilibrium. I think that the surprise will be how well the Japanese
market does once they clean house, which they are not done with yet. Thanks
so much Starwave and ABC.new.com and all of the terrific people involved
(jeff!!!). Also thanks so much for attending everybody, and read many times a
day in www.thestreet.com! good night
