Too much complacency, not enough fear . The bear is waking up.

The fiscal cliff went into place in Aug 2011 when the US AAA rating was lost. The only thing thing of consequence is the FED start nationalizing more of our own debt and took long term bond yields under 2%. We've had the market impact of the cliff for almost 18 months now.

Fiscal policy will have nothing to do with the market over the long haul, which is why the bond market has basically ignored all of the headlines over the past few months. Fiscal policy will be deemed a victory if tax hikes are kept to a minimum.

I love buying Apple with big spikes in the VIX.

I've allocated my daily amount of money back into the market today. Time to head out and enjoy Christmas Season!
