Thanks for the Acer foundry news. Very interesting! It seems to me that NSM will have more fab capacities over Intel before 1999 is over. This report well matched Acer's XC announcements and plans. I am going to get more NSM calls for this exciting XC announcements if there were further NSM drops.

IBM won't be able to hold their copper chip advantage too long. It won't surprise me if we see .25u copper MX in 2Q/98. The previous agreement with IBM to give IBM the rights to produce the same quantity of Cyrix processors was mainly because of the limitation of IBM crossing license with Intel. This restriction has been removed because of NSM-Cyrix merge. Wondering if NSM has started to negociate with IBM for better terms and better process for Cyrix processors?
