It's been awhile, but I believe his stats were for all the microcaps not just the 50 with the lowest PSR. i.e. - a universe of thousands of individual companies. It would not be practical for most individuals to attempt to buy every listed microcap in order to attempt to outperform.

Whatever criteria you use to narrow down that universe increases the probability of getting a PMAT/TRKN or SUBM or ... There are many more underperformers than outperformers. But those that outperform do so very nicely.

The book was useful but not suitable for most individuals to attempt to implement the winning strategies, IMO. Most people don't have access to the data in order to select the stocks to be bought nor do they have the financial resources to be able to buy sufficient quantities of all those stocks to make buy/sell commissions irrelevant.
