Zax, we're all aware of Apple's tight fisted control over their products. However, if you think you can get us riled up about this issue, think again. Apple's management has their reasons. We are more concerned about the Apple product's market acceptance than what Apple allows to connect to it. That seems to be going very well.

I am forced to agree. In this case at least, Apple appears not to have learned anything from the days of NuBus cards and ADB ports -- proprietary standards that hampered the Mac's acceptance in the marketplace.

They're the biggest kid on the block now, so they'll likely get away with it.
