The level of ignorance and wishful thinking in this country has reached epic proportions. It only increases my certainty that it will all end badly sooner than we think. When this level of delusion is so rampant, the end game must be close. Maybe home prices in your world finally collapse the way it did for us in Florida in 2007-09? We probably need prices correcting where they didn't and our government cutting back where it is bloated. Good chance little of this actually happens if job growth really takes off the next several years and rates remain at such low levels.. Which means getting closer to fiscal sanity sooner than you think and another massive housing/credit bubble well before the end of the decade.
