There is also increasing country risk as countries that host deposits seek sources of additional revenue. From my perspective the core of a PM portfolio has to be physical, in your possession. Of the mining stocks the mid-tier producers that can grow revenue and keep their costs under control are the ones that seem to make the most sense to me here.
