Oh, no argument... just that we were able to handle a higher tax rate with clinton because the economy was humming along at more than twice the speed... the same tax hike today would kill the economy...

Look up Nestor v. Fleming, might be Flemming. Supreme Court ruled decades ago that there are no entitlements. Social Security is just an income tax, nothing more, nothing less. They can cut benefits to zero and there is nothing you can do about it.

I'm not here to argue, but both parties are trying to cut
entitlements which were paid for, that's not an entitlement
in my book.
