I just updated XP and the MSSE icon went to yellow. When I rebooted after the update finished it was green again. A little while later it went yellow and it was because I had not done a scan lately. So I did a quick scan and it is green again. Apparently it shuts down MSSE when the update is being installed and it restarts when you reboot. I think the need to scan was just coincidental, but who knows?

Blessings,

JRH

Thanks Gottfried............I hadn't tried rebooting, but will next time. I'm getting the sense this is a minor issue, and not something to be overly worried about.
