A scam artist. IIRC there was quite a boondoggle with a Canadian designer over the Army camouflage pattern with quite outlandish claims about being invisible as well. AFAIK, the meta-material bending of EM has not been shown across the visible spectrum, which would be needed to make things "disappear". It has been demonstrated in very limited geometric constructs more in the microwave region, and again, limited frequency. The idea that complex geometry like a cloth with folds in it could be an invisibility clock is not happening any time soon.
