Tulvio, I culled the data from the 2nd Q conf. call.
I cannot provide a link. Akins devoted some time
in the call to the competitve landscape and used
the ArF data as an example. It was from a Lithography conf.
held in Japan the early part of July.
A look at the posts back then (June-July) will
give you the exact details as to the name of the
event, if your interested.

The following was also culled from the same conf. call...

Near Term Production Capacity

Final Test Bays: S.D. Japan Total
Plant Old New

1Q 97 15 9 4 28
2nd Q 97 15 9 8 32
July 97 15 16 8 39
Sept. 97 15* 32 10 57

*6 of the test bay in the old S.D. plant will be converted
to ArF the nine others will be used for prototyping.

Final test cyle time was running around 16 days.

assuming 42 test bays for KrF production
at 2 lasers/month per final test bay capacity
in SEPT will be 1,000 lasers per year.

Question:

1) How much of the above capacity will get utilized
in 98 ? 60 - 70 % ? Maxwell has posted that Cymer
is currently able to produce 75 Duvs/ month.
His source was a CYMI rep.

2) The capital equipment is now in place to meet
future demand. Will Margins improve in 98 due
to the fact the company has spent for Cap Ex in 97 ?

Questions in gernal for all to consider.

Regards,

Denis
