You are kidding, right? Simpson-Bowles was never passed. The fiscal cliff comes about from the bi-partisan 2011 Budget Control Act and the expiration of the 2010 Tax Relief Bill. Boehner's fault is he cannot control his own caucus. Now whether or not anybody could is an open question, but that is a different issue. There is a minority in the Republican Party who refuses to compromise in any way shape or form. Now why a minority part of the minority party gets to make the rules is something not really democratic...

That is no small error. If you knew anything about Simpson-Bowles you would know that it could not cause the fiscal cliff. Assuming you actually know what the fiscal cliff is.

Try tto stick to the facts instead of just making shit up.
