It passes quickly. They grew fast as weeds, as nature programmed them for. Nature programmed them to reach puberty and procreate as soon as able to.

Modern life (urbanization and mass education) made that procreation happen late and later in life.

The sons and daughters do not have embedded into their memories their parents' lives. They have only inherited from the environment in which they grew up. Even if parents tell them how it was, and show some what remains from that, their brains do not accept that as reality.

Reality is that what they have grown into. Thus one generation after the next move from a reality to another brand new reality.

This goes on until there is an upheaval which forces a sudden shake and back step on the realities. That's is happening in the developed countries as I write.
