Geesh, why would you invoke Afghanistan when it was the U.S. that funneled billions in weapons (not to mention training) to the Afghans to fend off Russia... and yes, they were later used against U.S. forces. I dont believe any of the laws they will pass regarding gun control are going to keep people from owning handguns for home protection or sporting rifles --- we'll see. Nobody has any need to own a machine gun, bazooka, or hand grenades. Ever hear of Australia? sacbee.com Again, I say think WACO. There are so many radical, end-of-the-world, doomsday nutjobs out there. You just watch what happens when enuf of those birds of a feather flock together at some time in the future. when the showdown comes they wont have penguins chance in hell. Mark my words!
