That's simply not correct. Doing so would look stupid (to an accountant), cost accountant fees... all sorts of paperwork for self AND probably the goverrnent no doubt... IN FACT they would probably just credit you (me) for next year. I AM planning on not collecting SS when the time comes to help that program... although IMHO it should be means tested. :)

You clearly never thought income tax idea through and you're grasping at straws to make me fit into your pre-conceived notion of me... It is not my job to go WAY out of my way to try and pay a certain tax rate.. it is much simpler to just give money to charity... which I do.

Again, by your definition of hypocrisy essentially nothing would change because everyone wanting change is a hypocrite in your mind. We see this all the time with those who rail against the "eco-types".
