From Koan That little turd probably doesn't have a malicious bone in his body, but is an extreme representation of what's gone wrong here. Only a few generations back here the origins of prosperity were at least semi-obvious to the cogent. We came so far so fast that the complexities of a modern economy are overwhelming to those without exposure to analysis of process. Koan and his kind now have the catbird seat. That'll fail of its own weight, but the correction will likely be long and painful.

The country could do well with 20 years of liberal democratic control (like in the 30's and 40's) of both houses and the presidency. Koan doesn't seem to realize that he is talking about terrible decades of global economic hardship, triumph of brutal totalitarian regimes, and the greatest - and by far the bloodiest - war in human history. Help everyone live happy and healthy lives and kill fucking Horatio Alger who was always a fascist pig. Everyone happy and healthy.... God's kingdom on Earth, brought to you by your wise, All Knowing and benevolent leaders. (And, of course, don't forget to kill off those who may be a bad influence). Interesting, revealing post.
