Another Win For Gun Control: 15-year-old boy among four shot in Chicago Let’s hope that President mompants bans our guns, so that we can be as safe a Chicago: Three men and a 15-year-old boy were critically wounded in a shooting Monday night in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side. They were shot at 7:27 p.m. in the 9400 block of South Justine, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said. The four victims were taken to area hospitals in serious-to-critical condition, two to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, one to Stroger Hospital and one to Mount Sinai Hospital. Details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not yet known. Area South detectives are investigating. Several neighbors who requested anonymity said they saw three men lying on the grass when they peeked out their windows after the shooting. “It just scared the mess out of me,” said one woman who heard about eight shots, called 911 and waited about a minute before looking out her front window. “This is a quiet block,” said Christine Haymond, a retired nursing home cook who saw the aftermath from her window. One of the men tried to crawl away after the shootingbut kept falling, she said. “Right before Christmas,” Haymond said, shaking her head. Yellow police markers sat atop shell casings as police processed the crime scene. Can’t wait for the Chicagoization of America. I’ll buy stock in slingshots and companies that manufacture boards with nails in them.
