tim i do not expect you to back up your earnings shortfall for asnd, but if asnd beats the number (which i believe) they will rise and continue to rise. for 4 reasons:

1. tax lost selling will be gone by announcement.

2. short sellers will leave this stock.

3. momentum players and the street will return.

4. i really do not believe your selling at 30 will collapse the price, but this is the most tenuous of the 4 statements.

Just my desperate wishful thinking.
Well, at least it won't tank if they beat the estimates. Otherwise, we can expect the ugly repeat of CS. 30% haircut. I was lucky to buy 32 contracts of CSCO Dec 90 put on Monday.

I think the networkers will rebounce(may still in negative) after the initial selloff, CS particular might lead some bargain hunters to cut in. I will unload my Put and buy CSCO Jan 90 Call(to participate the after-split run). CSCO seldom down 3 consective days with its momentum, unless warning.
