I think those numbers are separated out as far as "intentional" and "unintentional". What is NOT included is the number of murders caused by the illegality of drugs. It, too, is an astonishingly large number. AFAIK, there are not any good statistics on that, however. Because street drugs (even marijuana) are so expensive, and in the inner cities human life is perceived as worth nothing, people will kill for a bag of weed. Sell it at the convenience store and that virtually stops, overnight.
