Pat,

And also chips seems to go so well with dips. I am finding out that these chips are doing a lot more then before, combining functions.

Intel has announced a new design for their new chip and microsoft likes it. Faber is now announcing that dell's gross margins should be higher because they buy 70% of products from Asia, and this should work very nicely in their favor. Are they just hearing this?

Patrick,

I am getting ready to buy a Latitude notebook and a DELL 400 workstation as well as upgrade my Optiplex Gxpro. So...
I called DELL and they can deliver either a Inspiron or a lattitude notebook in 1 inventory turn cycle plus shipping time. The Workstation can be delivered in 5 days plus shipping time.
Business is very brisk at DELL and the salespeople are very optimistic and buying more stock. They say the company is growing like a startup and they do not have enough sales people to handle all the home business. Sounds like the XPS is hot.

The service guy was all business and pulled my name from the files based on the serial number on my Optiplex. He had the complete machine configuration and was able to advise me on the upgrade configurations.

DELL is executing close to letter perfect.

Fears of a PC demand slowdown are baseless.

Next stop $97/share.

Regards,

Jim Kelley
