BTW, the dispute on the Senkaku Islands has to do with oil and gas claims in the local area. No surprise there: news.nationalgeographic.com As far as comparisons to Japan, this history is pretty clear here and we're following their path pretty closely. We have advantages being the reserve currency, but we're rapidly using up all of our allotted chits. Japan is going to implode before we do. So we'll get to see first hand where our path will lead us. I hope we pay attention. There is no free lunch, no matter how much we wish it to be so.
