A couple comments on Cabletron and COMS. CS is a company that is way too tied to tradional hub and router market. No surprise that they will disappoint. They are struggling to catch up. COMS warning had to do with channel inventory particularly from Robotics. This could be related to confusion over modem standards and could presage problems with X2 vs. K56. IAE, unstuffing the channel is not pretty. As we all remember, Shiva took the big channel inventory hit beginning of 97. They are past that and refocused on correct markets and products (we hope). FWIW.
