It's obsession, but really, does it hurt anyone but the obsessed? Probably not. Let them live in the bottom of the depressive obsessive's pit of despair. There's that crackpot, Unclewest, who lives in the Spidey Hole of Freedom. There are few people on SI crazier than him. But some people serve best as a lesson to the rest of us- the lesson is "Don't Live Like That". I wouldn't want to end my days living without family, or trying to prepare myself for the end days, or the end of civilization. Who, in their right mind, would want to live that way? It's crazy. But sometimes looking at crazy can make normal look so fabulous. That gets us back to the lesson- "Don't Live Like That" :-)
