I still use a Treo 700p, no data plan, just phone. But I like some of the Palm programs I use on it when I am out.

I guess go to the google app store and to the apple app store and look around based upon what you will be doing.

Apple is proprietary and Android is for the most part open, running a form of Linux.

Most of my family runs iphones, I tease them by saying they can use my phone as a wifi access point if they want to.

The Apple is proprietary as I view it, if Jobs says no, you can't have it. A lot was locked down in the operating system from ver 3 to 5. I use a wifi scanner on my Android that will show wifi points around, Jobs decided you didn't need that in IOS5, the apps were banned and the IOS was changed to cease functioning.

Lot of reading in searching for iphone vs android
