They threw lots of "hand grenades" and had several larger "bombs". Many of the grenades did explode and many didn't. The larger stuff was more trouble for them and in a couple of cases they shot at them to either ignite or explode them. They did cause a fire in a small room which was put out by a teacher hiding nearby when they left that area... They apparently did use all their explosives and had a propane bomb in one of their cars.... They carried all weapons, ammo, and bombs in duffle bags.. Kill 500? When the shooting started students and faculty scattered and hid and many escaped through exit doors. They killed or shot all they found hiding or happened upon, mostly under desks or tables.. They let one leave the library...one that they were a classmate of... When they committed suicide there were still hundreds hiding all over the school..that was a huge and beautiful school.
