*AV*--A 350X improvement is stupendous. I would settle for a 100X improvement. I will be scouring the countryside here to find out how soon this type of service will be available. I do not mind the $39 monthly fee since ISDN will run us around $60 month (however, my wife's company will reimburse her for the cost). Therefore, this cost would be a great way to have superior service and a backup capability for nominal out of pocket expense.

BTW-I caught up on all delinquent messages and posts on my part. Whew! Glad that is over with. Now onto Patrick's thread.

Perhaps, then, what I understood was that 3 mega was "normal" operating speed.

Whatever. HAL is now permanently eye candy and a video game. With this setup I'm watching the markets on 2 screens and leaving the cable modem hooked up for web access on the third and I don't have to move from desk to desk.

Much easier on my butler.
