No - they publish a few stories every month - but no database of all defensive uses - sort of wish they did. The Brady Campaign accepts the National Crime Victimization Surveys’ numbers, which place the number of annual DGUs (Defensive Gun Uses) at somewhere between about 60k and 110k. It’s an extremely conservative estimate. According to a study performed in the early 1990s by Drs. Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz, there are between 2.1 and 2.5 million DGUs annually.
