Ed, I agree its wise to be cautious on a speculative play such as this one. One only has to see the carnage created in the wake of the Donner
play to appreciate this.

On the other hand, hype and promotion are noticeably absent from this play. This thread for example is extremely quiet for what could shape up to be a most exciting play. And given the total destruction of the junior mining market post Bre-X, Cross Lake has remained very solid. Something, other than hype or promotion is keeping this stock strong.I really think that the people involved in this play believe they are involved in a genuine discovery.

Your Bay street sources might not be plugged into this one yet even though they are geographically closer to the play. Cross Lake et al have been pretty well financed out of Vancouver.

From what I understand, the excitement driving this play is that the impressive initial 100 foot interesection was pulled from an area which was for years considered unlikely. Further, this is not primarily a gold find but a base metals one.

Over the next days and weeks we shall find out more as the drill results begin to pour in.

Good night and good trading

Surething

Between you and Surething it sounds like echoes of the stuff I write on my site and I am a shorter full time.
I hope you will visit my site because I rarely exchange messages on the threads and am not interested in exchanging nasty comments.
I respect long players and I wish them all well on this one but it's still only the insiders that know what's happening really.
