I had forgotten about this song for a long time till you mentioned Shel Silverstein.



The funny thing is Sylvia and Sylvia's mother were real people. Years later someone went back and found them for an interview. Sylvia looks to be about 50 and her mother about 80. It was good to hear them recall those events.
