If I had a neighbor who was carelessly brandishing a weapon and I was that concerned, I'd document that concern with the local authorities.

Neeka, that would require critical thinking, instead of using the typical "talking points in favor of stricter gun control" discussion that some are putting forth on this thread.

As an aside, I've got an idea for upcoming discussion, to hopefully move us to another subject.

It's well known that firearms kill. And in the spirit of full disclosure, here's a respectable site that documents the number (you'll find the firearms number by scrolling down through the morbidity section):
cdc.gov

I would like to see some comments from those who've touted the need for more firearms regulations, address this:
cdc.gov

Seems to me that if a cigarette smoking president (maybe former, but I doubt it), can fan the fires of firearms control, imagine what he could do with smoking control.

I can understand your conundrum because I never said a WORD about Cuomo.

What I DO find interesting about your reply is that you say, "If I had a neighbor who was carelessly brandishing a weapon and I was that concerned, I'd document that concern with the local authorities."

What if you had an argument one day with your neighbor and the next day he walked into his home carrying a bushmaster while looking at you unhappily? Would that concern you or would you feel proud that your neighbor was taking full advantage of his 2nd amendment rights?
