What you suggest is anarchy and that is not what people want. People just want some sanity brought to the spending of government. They DO NOT want to defund financial regulators - just the opposite! They want regulators to work for the people instead of the banks. They don't want defund the gun regulators - 70% want more regulation brought to guns. They don't want to defund tax collectors BUT they do want the tax system to be fair instead of favoring special interest groups with power from lobbyist. And no one wants to allow any environmental protections.
