What I said was:

This does not imply that no Christians are scientists nor that all scientists are exemplary and without superstitious weaknesses.

Even when a Christian is a scientist, he clearly retains a fondness for superstition and myth. As just one of thousands of examples...modern, rational people do not believe in the demon theory of medicine. This is a Christian belief--and a superstitious and ridiculous belief anchored in our ignorant pre-scientific past.
