According to FDA Talk Papers (4?/97), the FDA says that "no time soon" will it require CFC-Free metered dose inhalers. It noted the MMM-Schering CFC-Free inhaler Proventil (spell?) is already on the market. This inhaler news is difficult to digest because the information is scant and dispersed and cash flows appear relatively far into the future and uncertain. The market didn't much care for the news though since IVX is still down about 3.3% since. The clozapine news is better I think. The market apparently liked the news, I guess, since IVX is up about 3% since. I appreciate your observation that Novartis felt compelled to respond.
