Hi Max. Hope you had a great Christmas.

It's nice to see your evaluation of the 2013 team. As always there are lots of question marks as there are with every team because you don't know which player is going to bring it all together or which star will swoon.

I like our bias toward the younger side as it had to happen and will continue so into the future. Just hope Brown and Mayberry can be better players than they are as they gain experience.

Didn't know that about Adams- jeez.

I was not happy about getting Lannan as we wore him out. Maybe now that he doesn't have to pitch against us he will show something other than what I am expecting, which isn't much.

Would like to see Utley start the season healthy to see how his bat can do. I'm anxious to see if he's over the hill (I tend to think so) or if he can start hitting some of those homers again. I expect him to have a mediocre season at best. Same with Howard. Haladay I'm also concerned about too. He doesn't do well in the heat and that's when most all of baseball is played. Maybe he'll have a good season. And while I'm in the geezer part of my response, I always liked Polanco and I'm sorry to see him go but I think his playing days are numbered.

Looking forward to seeing Freddy Galvis play again and hope like you, that he is fully recovered.

All we can do, like you say is pray and hope fans of other teams don't pray more than us for their favorites!

Nice hearing from you again, Max. I hope you have a fantastic 2013.
