Yup, and double yup! The following describes the mass shootings since our govt deemed we should release and stop looking for and institutionalizing homicidal maniacs. To my knowledge we are the only advanced country that has done that. After everyone of these incidents, the call has gone out to disarm the innocent. Unfortunately, but likely deliberately, the list does not include all the shootings that were stopped and/or prevented by well armed and responsible civilians. When 85% of Congress were military veterans, we knew how to protect ourselves. Today less than 15% are veterans. They are clueless and dangerous. But they are not so clueless that they don't know why we armed.
