Ray,

I wonder whether there was mention of any financial arrangements between AT&T and ITXC, since Vocaltec purchased a minority stake in ITXC. Here's more info on ITXC from Fortune Mag.

Recently chosen as one of Fortune Magazine's ''Cool Companies,'' ITXC stands for Internet Telephony eXchange Carrier; the company is the ''carrier's carrier'' of Internet Telephony. ITXC's mission is to connect Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) into a worldwide network so that any customer of any ITSP can call anywhere in the world regardless of where the call is originated with a choice of capabilities and quality of service.

Earlier AT&T announced a memorandum of understanding with ITXC that provides for a possible equity stake in ITXC by AT&T.
