They should get enough Reps to pass, especially those who are retiring or lost their seats. They can vote on anything on their last day.

...and it is both a call to overhaul the system and a god damn shame that the only way a Republican, or any one for that matter, can now cast a vote to support his country, is on his way out, as a swan song....

The reason I have been optimistic is that our dear leaders have their own money in the market. All those blind trusts can't possibly be in cash. We, the citizens, are protected best when our legislators are as much at risk as we are. In this case, I think that is so. So I've always thought there would be a deal.

Of course, time will tell- and those teabagging fools are nuts, but I think there are a lot of people who are not nuts, and a few of them are even on the republican side- so I think there is a critical mass.
