Obviously the World Wars would have been different, but I also suspect that the advent of communism would have had a greater impact on the remaining fractured US.

North America would have become as much of a war zone as Europe as the North and South vied to control the continent, and the hemisphere. The Canadian and Mexican borders certainly would not have been so friendly if the two were constantly playing one side or the other.

Can you doubt the South would have joined Hitler as an Axis power? Would there have been a Hitler if there was no United States to break the stalemate in WWI? What if, what if.
