RE: COMS

I made the quickest and dumbest buy on this yesterday (of course I should know better than to rush into nything). But, I think I may hold. Here's some news:

From Briefing:

08:45 ET 3Com Corp (COMS) 35 5/16: With shares indicated to open
anywhere from 3 1/2 pts to 5 pts lower, BA Robertson Stephens is
making a bold call. While cutting its FY98 estimate by 45% to
$1.12 a share and its FY99 view by 19% to $2.24, the firm is also
raising its investment rating to "buy" from "hold." Seeming to be
in agreement that bottom has been reached is Bear Stearns, which
maintains its "buy" rating on the stk.

And it is 29 3/4 ask by (appx) 32 bid in pre hours trading...
Perhaps a bounce after today.

Dan

p.s. do not follow any of my advice if you also hold this stock

>I do not follow my own advice, when will I learn... damn!< dmc,

Darn I feel bad if you bought upon the things I said about COMS. T?A was really showing an upturn but I was going to wait. I usually do not buy before seeing the retest of the support is complete. It looks like it will open around 32.625 today. Good luck.
