Don't mind piggy back'n Buffett/Berkshire ideas as long as I can get in at similar price ;-). I'm guesstimating Berkshires entry was June/July looking at SEC filings which their at again. Did well in DG when Buffets new guy Todd Combs bought.

Actually Buffett piggy backed me on rails LOL.

NOV/WFT: As I say, I've been going through some oil service sector stocks today -- just looking at past and current metrics -- not evaluating prospects/rig counts/etc. On doing that I find in addition to NOV, OIS falls into a buy box too for me. I don't see WFT as attractive now for me..

I'll likely be placing small buy orders for Monday for both NOV and OIS.

I'm no expert in evaluating stocks in this sector, and I don't claim to be doing great with the stocks I have selected. I am a buyer and holder though. With a goodly number of stocks in the sector. As can be seen -g-

NOV. Earnings out. Apparently the street doesn't like the numbers or the company's prospects. (Stock at ~$71, down ~$3). Earnings and prospects look okay to me though. I've punched up my tracking amount to a position amount today.
