I spent well over an hour yesterday in an effort to re-hook my VHS/DVD recorder/player to my new TV. I simply cannot make it work. I bot newer RF cables that were longer and let me route it all a more convenient way and started over from scratch. TV works beautifully in full HD along with the surround sound it features. The tapes and DVDs simply produce a "No Signal" in the middle of the screen even though the machine is running as it should. Something about the connection that just isn't right, but I haven't figured it out.

My player is too old to have the HDMI feature, so that idea is out. I'll pull it all apart again tomorrow for one last shot. I gotta watch football the rest of today, dontcha know!
