That system looks okay, but it doesn't have an dedicated video card which will help in video editing.

If you are looking at Lenovo, look at their business line, as they will have Windows 7 as an option when you customize the machine, home users systems will be stuck with Windows 8:

Have you ever tried Sony Movie Studio? It use to be called Vegas Movie Studio, a cut down version from the high end editor Sony Vegas, but Movie Studio is low cost you can pick it up for around 45 bucks, and the really good thing is any training video you see on YouTube for Sony Vegas will work with Movie Studio.

Thats where I learn all my tips is on YouTube, thousands of Tutorials on YouTube for Sony Vegas.

You can still get version 11 of Movie Studio for 45 bucks, I have it and its a really good editor. Version 12 is out, I have it, but not much difference from version 11. Bit of a learning curve, but you can get all the training you want off YouTube. I love it.
