Yep I know GoPro's are good, lots of YouTubers use them, and not just for sports, you can get some cool shots with them, as they have a wide angle of view and you can put them almost anywhere, because they are so small. Defiantly get a computer with a dedicated graphics card, you won't be sorry.

Here is a really good in-depth review of the GoPro 3, piles of sample videos in all conditions. After watching the review, I would NOT buy the White, get the Silver or Black, White has bad low light problems as seen in this video, but you should watch this very well done review: youtube.com
