Why dont they address the cause? The reason there are so many murders in America is because the liberals developed the concept that if you committed a crime you weren't a bad person who did something wrong so we should excuse you and blame the real bad guys the honest and responsible American Citizen. Shoot somebody and go to court and you are sure to get every constitutional right protected, the government must dot every i and cross every t. The meaning of the constitution is twisted in you favor. The courts almost apologize to the criminals for inconveniencing them by requiring court attendance. Now on the other hand be an honest responsible citizen and you get no such treatment. e.g. In the Kelo case the city asserted its right to take the defendant's home because it wanted to sell it to a developer who intended to build a commercial development and that would generate more taxes for the city. The 5th amendment of the constitution reads in part "nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation". The court construed "public use" to mean include this taking. Any layman could read the constitution and understand that the taking in Kelo was not for public use, since the city intended to sell the property to a private party and had no intention to use the property itself. The takeaway is if you are a criminal, we will read the law in your favor, give you every break imaginable but if you are an honest citizen, who acts responsibility, you have no rights. Just shut up and pay your taxes. The more the cancer of the liberal idealogy has spread the worst things get. lj
