Should the police be allowed to have guns? Could a 22 year old steal a gun from their policeman father and gun down 20 people?

I'm okay with banning the AR-15, don't see why anyone would want to own one, they are insufficiently lethal.

that's fine -- weapons are a problem -- what I don't get is how the clowngress is gonna put the genie back in the bottle -- folks who want new laws limiting access to new guns don't have ANY answer for that.

The recent rush to buy isn't going to be fixed with a buy-back or making some additional registration BS -- people will just refuse to cooperate -- and with good reason. Police have already expanded the use of these weapons -- not to mention ATF, FBI, IRS -- and who knows what other federal agencies.
