I think that is purely speculation on your part. Something of a wild guess mixed with some kind of resentment.

There have been times when Apple couldn't keep up. Apple is the only company besides Qualcomm that I know of that has this problem.

I've seen no solid evidence pointing to overwhelming demand or suppliers are overwhelmed or a supply chain problem. I have seen some evidence its purely overwhelming demand or suppliers like Qualcomm being overwhelmed by demand.

There are legitimate reasons to criticize Apple I think:
- They are just too big now to respond like they used to
- Their quality control has been less that it could have
- Design problems
- Cash usage - that's debatable - their policy in the past of having a lot has stood them well but they are responding now that its such an incredible amount

supply chain shoddiness... so far I'm not seeing it. In fact considering the incredible demand for their products, I think they are doing this part quite well.
