Katrina was the absolute FAILURE to have good government. It was the FAILURE to have adequate policing. We NEED government -- having a well functioning government is absolutely the most basic requirement of civilization. Guns don't substitute for government. On the contrary, mass quantities of guns destroy society. Spend a couple of days in places with lots of guns and no functioning government and you will see real despair -- real terror -- real and pointless violence. Government is a good thing, not a bad thing.,
