The talk of not raising taxes on anyone making up to $400 or more as a measure to protect "middle income" earners is ludicrous
I don't hear anyone talking about this in that way. The number was raised from 250k to 400k, but the rhetoric didn't ride up the scale with it. Nobody is claiming that people making, say, $399,000 a year are middle class.
