J+, From your friend, Creamer! Western Digital, as I have said six gazillion times in this site, is a different sort of loss altogether. There is a horrible dynamic in the disk drive industry, with Asian manufacturers producing far more drives than the world needs. The drive companies are in a good old-fashioned price war with no winners in sight. I know this advice has driven Motley Fool people batty, but I would rather be right than make friends. People who just started trading now have forgotten what an honest-to-God drive price war can mean. Solvent companies go belly-up. Minor players vanish. Big guys have black ink turn to red, in torrents, Shining-like. Don't wait until Johnny shows up at your door with an axe and a big grin. Stay away, Lloyd. J!
